03Biography
Jereme “JP” Tayamen is a professional Master Class sporting clays shooter with the NSCA, Caesar Guerini Pro Staff Shooter, content creator, and retired United States Marine Corps Officer based in Tampa, Florida. Since entering competitive shooting in 2021, Jereme has rapidly advanced through the ranks of sporting clays and FITASC, with more than 50k registered targets from major events throughout the United States and internationally.

Jereme’s coaching philosophy and shooting knowledge have been developed under the tutelage of World Champion shooter and respected coach Will Fennell. Through this mentorship, Jereme has built a strong understanding of target presentations, shot planning, visual discipline, pre-mount method, low-gun method, and the technical and mental skills required for consistent performance. His approach has also been significantly influenced by world-renowned sports vision mentor Dr. Richard Colo, whose expertise has strengthened Jereme’s understanding of visual performance and what it means to truly “look at the bird” along with working through eye-dominance issues, and strengths/weaknesses of specific eye dominance.

Jereme coaches sporting clays and FITASC shooters throughout Florida, helping students build sound fundamentals, improve visual and technical consistency, and develop practical systems for practice and competition. He tailors his instruction to each shooter’s experience, goals, and individual needs.

He is also the founder of The Clay Lab, a media platform producing instructional videos, podcasts, competition coverage, and industry features for the clay-target community
